Talbot County Free Library Foundation
The Talbot County Free Library Foundation promotes charitable giving that raises private, sustainable funds from individuals, businesses, and organizations to support the library in enhancing and enriching the lives of all Talbot County residents. Public funding alone cannot support all that the library does for the community. We need your help to provide the very best services and resources, to support children's lives and life-long learning for all residents.
The Library Foundation directly supports the library's strategic initiatives to play a vital role in the public education system and to provide engaging and enriching experiences for the community. The Library Foundation facilitates fundraising efforts for projects such as purchasing historical and genealogy materials for the Maryland Room, purchasing library collections, supporting innovative programming, and by helping to provide enhancements for building renovation projects. It has also been instrumental in creating several funds dedicated to specific library fundraising efforts.
Over the years, many generous individuals, and organizations have demonstrated their deep commitment to the transforming work of the library by donating to the Library Foundation. Your contribution to the Library Foundation ensures that the library can continue to provide services, resources, and programs that inspire minds and transform lives. Your support matters!
