The historical Society of Talbot County's Auditorium, completed in 1987, is recognized as an outstanding example of the preservation, graceful restoration, and adaptive use of a historic interior space. The Society used the sanctuary of the former Ebenezer Methodist Epsicopal Church, built in 1856 with bricks from an 1824 structure, to create a multi-purpose community facility. This is now part of the Society's heritage center of eight buildings and gardens in Easton's nationally-registered Historic District. This commemorative card is sponsored by the Tidewater Stamp Club.
