Fire Insurance Map Collection
The Maryland Room Map Collection of the Talbot County Free Library has a collection of three Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps. Though a small collection, these three maps cover the urban development of Easton and other Talbot County towns from the late 19th century to mid 20th century. Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps provide the researcher with a detailed cartographic history of Talbot County. The maps in this collection date from 1896 to 1946.
