The Ludlow Collection
Cynthia Beatty Ludlow was born and raised in Skaneateles, New York. She attended Smith College where she recieved her bachelors degree. She and her husband, a Navy Captain, settled in Talbot County in 1942. Through her "diggings" she relized history of the area could best be told through the buildings and homes of the people who have lived here.
This Collection consists of Ms. Ludlow's notes and first drafts of the history or some of Talbot's most famous and historic structures. The collection is arranged alphabetically by the title of the property. The T-number indicates the property's Talbot County Historic Trust Number.
