Working Artists Forum Exhibit
The Working Artist Forum, a local group of professional artists, will be exhibiting small paintings from December 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024 in the Main Meeting room. The paintings are by 27 artists of a variety of subjects and presented in a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil and more. You can buy art directly from the artist with contact information on display with the art. Stop by and enjoy this wonderful exhibit.

Join us to hear L. Michelle Johnson and Cheryl Hoopes share about this collection of artifacts. Revealing the Commodore Collection tells the story of how a community brought value to a set of documents and artifacts that were found in a home about to be demolished. Learn how student historians built a set of documents that shed light on one Eastern Shore man's journey from slavery to freedom. Lunch & Learn Speaker series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.
