Lunch & Learn: Guest Speaker is Kristin Rutkowski
Kristin Rutkowski will share stories and photographs from her book, "Her Helm: Chesapeake Bay." The book highlights women who make their living on the Bay waters as ferry operators, captains and more. An exhibit of the portraits can be seen at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum thru September 2024. The Lunch & Learn Speakers series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

Working Artists Forum Exhibit
The Working Artist Forum, a local group of professional artists, will be exhibiting small paintings from December 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024 in the Main Meeting room. The paintings are by 27 artists of a variety of subjects and presented in a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil and more. You can buy art directly from the artist with contact information on display with the art. Stop by and enjoy this wonderful exhibit.
