Family Dungeons & Dragons

All ages welcome, children under 10 years old are welcome with an adult. Join us for a family night of gaming. Bring your own dice or we will have plenty to share. Experience not necessary. We will be creating characters and adventuring though a "Candlekeep" mystery.

Tidewater Stamp Club

October is National Stamp Collecting month. All are welcome to stop by and see a collection of stamps from the Tidewater Stamp Club. Mark Tyx will be available to answer questions about the exhibit located near the Circulation desk.

Pumpkin Patch Story time

Families are invited to come to a fun pumpkin patch themed story time for little ones (up to 5 years old) at the Easton Library. This special festive story time will include non-scary pumpkin stories, silly songs, and a pumpkin patch craft. Children are welcome to come dressed in costume.

The Friends of the Library are preparing for their book sale on October 27th and will be accepting items from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Easton Library in the Frederick Douglass Room. Donations limited to one bag or box of books and DVDs, in good condition please.

Speaker: Chief Donna Wolf Mother Abbott

We welcome the first female Chief of the Nause-Waiwash Tribe who will speak on Eastern Shore Native American history and culture. Topics will include the history and resources that came from the land & waterways of the Eastern Shore, European Contact and Post European Contact, and more. Event is free and open to the public.

Story Time at the Chesapeake By Maritime Museum's Lighthouse

Must pre-register for free admission to the museum (please call the St. Michaels Branch at 410-745-5877 to do so).For ages 5 and under accompanied by an adult. Learn about lighthouses and make your own lighthouse craft.

Sunset Cruise on the Patriot

All Aboard! Friends of the Talbot County Free Library hosts a fundraiser: Sunset Cruise on the Patriot. Cash bar (first drink free), gourmet appetizers, and live music by Ampersand. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased at tcfl.org.

Frederick Douglass Reading Challenge

2023 Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

Learn about and see the 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse (partial) live with Eclipse Ambassadors Micheal Newman and Patricia Molinari. There will be a Telescope setup with a camera to display on the screen in the meeting room. Glasses will be provided so you can go outside and look for yourself.

Breakneck Comedy of Errors
