Talbot County Free Library Presents: Dia De Los Muertos

Event held in the Easton Main Meeting Room. Día de los Muertos is a holiday celebrated in Mexico where families honor their loved ones with a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. Stop by the library to take a look at the altars honoring those who have passed away, along with a screening of “Coco.” The movie will be showing in Spanish with English subtitles.

Author Event: Brent Lewis

Join local author Brent Lewis for an evening of stories that took place on the Eastern Shore for over a century. His book, "Stardust by The Bushel", will be available for sale and a book signing will follow the presentation.

Community STEM Festival

Fun for all ages. Organizations including Pickering Creek, Easton Utilities, MY Tech, Easton Robotics, and University of Maryland Extension Service, Shorerivers, and Talbot County Department of Emergency Services will be here with an ambulance you can tour. Andrew Thaler will also be on hand to do an aquatic robots demo. There will also be arts, crafts, music, a Lego build, and more!

Bridge Toll: Impacts of the Bay Bridges on Eastern Shore Life

Join us for this free program hosted by Stuart Parnes, Curator of the Oxford Museum. A panel of speakers will share their thoughts on how life on the Eastern Shore has been impacted. The program is part of a series of events supporting the Oxford Museum's hosting of the Smithsonian traveling exhibition "Crossroads: Change in Rural America" and is co-sponsored by the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, Talbot County Free Library, and Kent Island Heritage Society.
